5 Ground Rules to Get a Good Score in
IELTS
All
the preparations should have taken before the test. There is no other way then
practice a lot to get a good score in IELTS. Here I share some of the simple
tricks I followed before my test.
1. Practice,
practice and practice: Practice makes a man perfect. So make
sure you have enough practice before registered for the test because each exam
has huge fee. Take enough preparation before getting registered for the test.
2. Follow Only One Set of Guide Books: There are hundreds of
writers have thousands of guide books for the IELTS test. But I recommend following
just only one set of guide books. Different writer and publishers have their
own way to express their opinions. So it will just give you exam panic rather
then helping you.
3. Maintain
a Strict Routine for Study: Try to solve at least one
set of books from IELTS preparation guides before your exam. For this purpose,
make a day to day routine and strictly follow it. It will be great if you build
an hourly based routine for your preparation. As an example, in the Cambridge
IELTS books, each book contains 4 to 5 mock test question paper of the full
phase exam. Simultaneously, in each set contains 7 books. So totally, there are
35 tests. Now, if you plan to seat for solving one test a day, then it will
take around 35 days to finish the set.
4. Seat
for Practice Test Regularly: There are lots of
preparation guide in market and internet as well. There are also online exams
in the internet available now. So try to solve question paper in daily basis. If
possible, register for mock tests in IELTS corners.
5. Asses Your Score Form Mock Test and Mark Your Weakness: The
only reason I prefer to register in an IELTS center for mock test because, they
asses your exam paper and publish your result to you. In some case, they also
marked your weaknesses. So it will help you to find out where are you now and
also help you to recover your deficiency.
If
you search online then you will find many IELTS preparation materials and get
other students experiences about the examination and preparation. If possible ask
the English medium students to teach English properly and tell them to suggest
you about how to get good score in IELTS examination. Here, I just shared my
experience and also my secret of obtaining good result to show you the substitute
ways. These are just my opinion not fact. Everyone should have their own way to
reach their goal. These are mine. So find out your way to reach your target.
Sit tight and get ready for the exam.
Wish you good luck.
